Do you consider ballroom dancing a sport at competition level?

I do three styles of ballroom dancing, modern ballroom, latin amercian and new vogue. I do them competitively with national dancesport. Just want to hear from other people, do you consider dancesport as a true sport? Or a sport in its own class? Or just a way to socialise?

3. NO I DON'T But then again I rate it as more a sport than Synchronised Swimming and that's in the Olympics
4. Well, I'd consider competitive ballroom dancing a sport long before cheerleading. Trust me, I meant this as a compliment.
