  1. maybe they don't know how to dance
  2. My husband's family is like that. It's because they have a stick up their @ss.
  3. maybe they dislike the exhibitionism dancing entails.
  4. dont know how to dance, dont want to, dont need to
  5. Probley mad because they aren't getting married. And yes, I need the beer.
  6. ?????????? Weddings I have been to, after dinner they normally dance. Obviously not all people like to dance, but I have not been to a wedding in my life, where people don't dance at all
  7. Well, if you're forgetting the beer, there is no way I'm getting up and dancing.
  8. some people don't know how, some people are embarrassed, or fear that they will be embarrassed if they aren't perfect, some people might have a bad knee or other injury.
  9. My friend's wedding wasn't like that everyone partyed down. Even her great aunt was dancing to the black eyed peas 'lady lumps'. It was not a good sight one I NEVER want to see again.lol
  10. because not everybody is comfortable dancing in front of everybody - they think they are so important that everyones watching them.... or they may have no rhythym... or just be a bunch of bores....
  11. At weddings where I had been dancing was fantastic! It's just not very comfortable when lots of strange people and you cannot be sure that you see them just once. May be they are your relatives??...
  12. Some May Not know How To Dance Some May Not Like To The Music And In Some Case Maybe They have Problem with Standing Or even maybe There tried
  13. Probably because they don't know how to do the Chicken Dance. It is a tough dance to perform and takes a ton of practice.
  14. Could it be that they do not like dancing?
  15. I know... i went to my cousins wedding 2 weeks ago, and hardly any1 danced at first... obviously i did though, i danced for hours, drank alot, and by the end of the night my feet were killing and i was swaying... lol.... I think its because people are self conscious of what other people are going to think if their not that good a dancer... i didnt really give stuff because i know im a great dancer haha
  16. may be disabled
  17. maybe they are tone deaf, cant dance.. etc just be glad they came to the wedding
  18. cause their boring
  19. Maybe they don't like dancing. Not so difficult to imagine is it?
  20. my wife and i were the only people to dance all night at a recent neighbours wedding. We didn't know a soul and the bar was 5 deep. Needs must. A good night though!!
  21. Too pished to stand?
  22. there are some people who have no sense of rythm and are tone deaf. that is reason 1. some people would just rather watch others instead that is reason 2 and some people who by the time the wedding is over because they had to travel a far distance, children kept them us all night or some other reason are just too tire to dance reason 3. some people would rather visit with their friends and family instead of dance. that is reason 4. My reason is I have no sense of rythm, I am tone deaf, I like to watch and usually the people I see at a wedding I have not seen in a long time, therefore, I prefer to visit with them.
  23. I was at my best friends wedding last week and all of the "young crowd" got down--which was one side of the room. My friend's mom and her aunts danced, but until the polka came on, no one over 35 danced except them! I love to dance at weddings, especially after 4 or 5 cosmoplitans!
  24. I get up and have a good old knees up, and piss up. They're probs all Old Farts.
  25. dancing is for idiots, unless dancing with a woman, even then its still a bizzare thing to do. monkeys dont dance.
  26. i found that at my weddijng, half the people just sat there all night, either they can't dance, they only came for the free booze and food, or even worse, just turned up to be polite. at weddings they have a variety of music so there is no excuse not to dance, even my gran was dancing, she put me to shame (i have the video as proof)
  27. i'm with you on this one , maybe alot of these people have not had weddings themselves, and do not realise the preparation that goes in to the a wedding . long live rock and roll , the twist , and a good walz to some strauss music its a sure way to burn off the calories .I would be out there the minute the band started and be the last to come in off the floor.
  28. My father wouldn't have danced. I got married, was not allowed to have dancing, or liquor. He thought they were sins. Boring wedding--church wedding and cake and punch in the basement. My parents were ''holier than tho art'' Christians.....always judging everybody. Maybe some of your quests fit into this category, too.
  29. Perhaps they have nothing to celebrate.
  30. they are boring, you cant keep me off the dance floor.
  31. maybe the d.j. or musicians suck
  32. Because they ALWAYS play crap music at weddings, and it's always the same songs at every wedding. You never have any techno or drum & bass played, do you?
  33. ...because someone super-glued their chairs (?).
  34. cos they are not happy go lucky people like us its a shame but someone has to keep the seats warm,,,,,......
